How did your experience at Grace Hopper help you decide that Bank of America was the place you wanted to work?
“Bank of America has a huge presence at Grace Hopper, which demonstrates its commitment to women in computing. I also had an interesting conversation with one of the bank’s representatives about a biometrics session we both had attended. I really wanted to work with big data, and at Grace Hopper Bank of America explained how the bank could offer me that opportunity. Many teams at the bank deal with data warehousing, data streaming, and data analysis, so, there are a lot of opportunities to work with data in differing ways.”

Why did you choose Global Risk Management at Bank of America?
I chose Bank of America because it’s an organization filled with opportunity and exposure. Bank of America sets itself apart because they look for innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Choosing the bank was an easy choice for me, because the associates are what drive the company to creating a positive environment. The Global Risk Management Associate Program at Bank of America is one of the best in the industry. I work in Corporate Operational Risk and Capital Reserves, and we make sure there is enough capital reserve to sustain any type of scenario.
